Id bet two at most, if that.
Well, right now .25 acp can be had for under $12/50.
But a 50 gr FMJ at a real 900 fps from a pocket-gun barrel length would be cool.
I did the math. If I had brass and dies on hand reloading .25 ACP would cost about $7.50 a box using lead bullets and $12 a box using a Hornady XTP bullet. It would take quite a while to recover the cost of dies and I don’t see conversion kits listed on the Dillon Precision website.
Of those who have a .25, am curious how much you actually shoot it?
Went to a gun show in 2000 best I can recall where a vendor had once fired .25 ACP and .32 ACP in quart and gallon ziploc bags. No idea where it came from or how long it took to accumulate.
50-150 rds every time I take one out but…I think I fired about 700 rds of in 2018. Could be more.
Everything from silhouettes at 25 yds, small steel plates at 15, moving and shooting extended and from retention positions and near-contact distance.
So, just like shooting other pistols except hitting small targets beyond 15 yds is a bit hard. Burst-fire is the thing to do with a single-action pocket gun at that range.
It’s fun, too.
I practice reloads as well.
I wouldn’t want to be picking through those casings on the ground among everything else. Then again, they can’t really be confused with anything else at glance. Maybe .32 acp.
I always thought a 10/22 chambered in .25 ACP and/or .32 ACP would be a neat little plinker and small game gun

If you could cram the case with a slower burning powder and get some velocity it might be fun. Still… very niche.
.32ACP bullets are .308 diameter, so .32ACP rounds with adaptors will work in .308, .30’06, etc…
I always thought that the .30 Carbine was like a 10/22 (long before the 10/22) but chambered in a centerfire pistol round. (A WWII-vintage IBM was my first rifle.)
I recently fired about 500 rds of .25 acp in one range visit through three Beretta Jetfire’s. NO malfunctions!
Ammo was Aguilla, (250) PPU,(100) PMC, (50) and Hornady XTP. (75)
I ran this through just two magazines because I wanted to test them, too. I usually clean them after every session and wanted to see how dirty they could get and still work. I certainly have my answer.
Excellent, accurate little guns. Too bad they are out of production.
