No. I’ve been using a SmartCarry, and I like it a lot. I get a little uncomfortable about safety with it, though. I’ve been using the Zack Concealment Holster from Suarez International (basically, a trigger cover) along with the SmartCarry. It works well, but it makes the draw a bit more difficult. I was wondering if there’s a leather version of the SmartCarry that I could use instead.
Just a thought, how about getting some sheet plastic out of the craft department, and cutting a piece to cover both sides of the carry pouch? I’m thinking stitch (staple, depends on your skills) the ends in so as to not interfere with the draw, and you have what you need, cheap.
Thanks. I may try something like that (I can staple real good!), or stitching in some leather where it matters. There’s a shoe repair place up the street from me that could probably do something like that. Apparently, the SmartCarry commonly wears at the bottom anyway, and the fix for that is either duct tape or a stiched in leather patch. So I’d be getting a jump on that, too.
