When you do sales and purchases (not firearms) to and from private individuals (not dealers) from places such as Equipment Exchange, Gunbroker, Ebay etc…do you get or ask for receipts?
No. But you could print the ad and the emails if you wanted to.
My method of payment is 99% of the time PayPal, I keep my emails and also produce a PDF document every couple months.

Over the net or face to face. If it’s under $30 bucks I probably won’t bother.
If I’m buying or selling a firearm, I also ask for ID. If a weapon is ever used in a crime or stolen, I want to be able to give LE as much info as possible to aid in the investigation. If you disagree that’s cool and I understand, we just won’t be doing business.
