Digital Woodland Camo Differences

I’ve noticed when you look at pictures of digital woodland some of them look like they have a lot more “bright tan” in them:

I assume that is just a photography effect. Is that correct?

Genuine Digital woodland (MARPAT) is copyrighted. The two commonly found civilian versions from Propper and Tru-Spec are sorta close but definitely different. Somewhere someone described one as having the wrong brown and the other had the wrong green. Other manufacturers are more imaginative -I saw some cheap digital woodland ponchos where they’d left the coyote-ish color out.

My woodland cammies have no “bright tan” in them. Those are civilian knock-offs in every way, style and color.

I am not sure what you are looking for as far as function ie. to just wear everyday or for hunting or for work. I use sitka gear which is a digital camo in green or brown for hunting (archery) and it is great, can get it lite medium or heavy (thickness) but it aint cheap! have had deer as close as 6 yards from me and not in a stree stand!

Is there a good website authentic MARPAT can be ordered from? If it is close then that is one thing, but some of the stuff you see on the internet looks pretty far off on some of the colors.

I know of no civilian website/store where you can buy authentic Marine Corps cammies. Then again do you really need them?

The woodland digital would be fine, but i just dont want to get that neon tan color i saw in those pictures. I figured with marpat i would know what i am getting.

From what I have seen, those are bad pictures and in person they look pretty much like MARPAT.

Most surplus stores carry them most are pretty worn, though
