Difference in Colt 6933's with and without restricted roll marks?

So I am looking to add a couple of Colt 6933’s to the safe for the kids and may have a question…

I have a Colt 6933 right now; it is the large pin version with the restricted roll marks.
I was at a shop today and they can order me the 6933 with or without the restricted roll marks.

The price premium for the restricted roll marks is almost $400!

I honestly couldn’t care less about the markings and if they are identical I’m definitely going with whatever is cheaper, but are there any differences between the “old” style restricted models and the “new” style?

Pin hole sizes? I have been told that the large pins are year-dependent, not tied to the roll marks. Since the dealer has to order these, it may not be feasible to verify beforehand.

Are there any differences in barrel profile?

Any real reason to go with restricted markings for a premium price?

Not worth the price if you don’t care about the roll mark.

They’re all .625 lightweight barrels.

Pin size is dependent on year.

The roll mark would only be relevant to a collector.

If your dealer is ordering them new, they should be “normal” pin size, no “restricted” roll mark, MBUS rears, and a standard Colt M4 stock.

I agree. I don’t think Colt offers the Restricted roll mark anymore. Mine has the rollmark, but I could not careless about it. I bought it as a police trade-in and no way would I have paid a premium for the LE markings.
