HOLLY HILL, Fla. – A Holly Hill man is being held in jail without bond after police said he came after his brother with two guns and a samurai sword.
Matthew Meador, 24, is facing attempted murder charges.
Police said Meador’s older brother was trying to quiet him down when he had been drinking heavily.
Meador first grabbed a rifle and fired at his brother, according to police, then chased him across the street with a pistol.
When family wrestled that weapon away from him, police said Meador grabbed the sword and came after his brother. He dropped it and ran when his mother called police.
