My favorite part is when she says “and a pistol grip so it can be fired from the hip” since we all know this is the most conducive method for shooting people.
Ive seen worse.

I think they’ve seen too many movies!
I’m sold! I’m trading in my LMTs for M1-As – they aren’t black – they’re wood colored. ![]()
The woman in the pink shirt looks like Mary Jo Buttafuoco

omg she does. good observation
I suppose it’s a rhetorical question, but why does the MSM never mention that virtually identical rifles were available during the ban? To the average person, an AR-15 with a pinned and welded muzzle break, no bayonet lug, and a fixed stock is the same as one with the banned features. They act like you couldn’t buy anything like an EBR during the ban, which is a gross distortion of the facts. And it feeds the common public misconception.
Obviously it’s due to media bias, otherwise they would be calling attention to the fact that the AWB accomplished nothing of value and failed to actually ban any of the weapons that were “banned”. The only real difference since the ban expired is the availability of magazines without having to pay high prices for “hi-caps”. But they were always available during the ban if you were willing to pay for them.
I wish someone would have told me I couldn’t shoot my mini-14 from the hip with out a pistol grip.
Why in the hell do they even mention shooting “from the hip”? As if that’s more deadly somehow? If someone was shooting at me I’d rather they shoot from the hip without using sights or optics instead of properly shouldering and aiming the weapon. Seems like they’d be more likely to miss and I’d have a better chance of winning the fight. Am I wrong here?
The purpose of the pistol grip on the AR-15 was to allow the stock to be directly in line with the barrel and bolt carrier so the recoil would be straight back, minimizing muzzle climb during FA fire. Actually, this was a holdover feature from the AR-10 which was designed to allow controllable FA .308 fire. The M-14 was too difficult to control on FA, and Eugene Stoner specifically addressed this problem with the AR-10. Shooting “from the hip” was not a design consideration in the least.
Deleted.
Shooting from the hip, huh? She reports from the ignorant, so maybe it’s kind of the same thing…?
dog
I guess it does but this lady makes it sound like if you have a pistol grip you can fire it from your hip and you will be twice as deadly or something. I guess its pretty expected that they would say something like this. Its foolish to think the media would ever be on the gun owner’s side.
Ill raise you one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRQqieimwLQ
OMG…incendiary = heat seeking !
WOW. The ignorance of these people is just mind boggling…
When i 1st viewed that, I really did fall out of my chair.
I wonder why so many politicans think gun ownership is a privilege. If it’s not, then why is it on the BILL OF RIGHTS!
Where can I get a heat seeking round!
OMG — and, these are the type of people that get voted into office! Wake up smell the coffee…
And they are elected officials the people have chosen to govern over them.
You have to wonder if she is really that clueless or if she knows she is lying but doesn’t give a shit.
There’s some related vids of a VA gun control group. I get so angry I can’t even finish watching some of those videos.
This whole country is ruled by people passing laws about things they don’t even begin to understand. Stupid hurts… everyone.
