I did a full stipple job including under the trigger guard and on the finger pads. My hands are pretty leathery so I went pretty agressive with the stippling. Put some Pierce grip extension on and stippled them as well. Installed Trijicon night sights. I refinished her in CeraKote “H” series graphite black with stain mag controls and barrel and a pinisher logo on the grip. And picked up one of those aluminum covers with the American flag on it.
Over all I am pretty happy with how she turned out. I can definately hold on to it a lot better
Thanks for the kind words. I used a soldering iron and a straight edge with a tip I made. Its a wedge looking tip. I just kept turning it in circles when I applied it.
Just an observation, but many of those aftermarket rear plates do not have the metal pieces that the factory Glock rear plates have. Not sure if this could make them a weak point on the weapon. Just a thought.
I understand that some people want to make their stuff look “cool”, but aren’t those aftermarket back plates detrimental to quick sight acquisition? You now have one more thing in your view to distract you from that front sight.
Got the rear plates from www.glockplates.com. They are solid alum so they will be stronger than the factory plates. It really dosent distract me from finding the front sight. To be honest I dont see the flag unless I look for it.
Never been a fan of stippling but yours looks like one of the better ones. I’ve seen some that just look like they went through a fire, those ones hurt your eyes.
