delivery MADNESS!

I called around today looking for MORE GUNS – and whoa – Armalite and Bushmaster are now quoting SIX MONTH delivery time on new orders of 5.56 guns – A YEAR or LONGER on .308 or special calibers!

I just got my Defender 2000 lower from LMT I ordered just before the rush. Got it home am slapped on a LMT MRP GP upper. LMT is taking dealer direct orders and are sticking to a three month to 16 week delivery of new orders.

Thank god I bought early and bought LMT!

I bought a bit late, but I still managed to sneak this out…

My local FFL said he just tried to order some stuff from LMT on behalf of a customer and they quoted 2 or 3 months…

OP, admit it, this thread was just an excuse to re-post pics of your MRP. :stuck_out_tongue:

but who cares? very nice weapons from both 'rider and 'wayne. nice stuff & good taste.

No – seriously – I’ve been trying to stock my buddies up on ARs so I gave my existing Defender with a 16 inch M-4 Upper to my pal for Christmas – and had to get a new defender lower for my Piston MRP…

AND I love showing my gun:

PS – JOhn Wayne – I LOVE that Colt! Cool, man!

Nice Colt!

I wish i was your pal;):D…Nice weapon!

I bought Sabre and am expecting delivery mid-March. About average for Sabre. The last one I bought from them took 4-6 months as well. However, they have the best fit/finish of any AR I have ever picked up. Worth the wait.

They are quoting 1 year lead times now though.

Carzy is right. I spent the ENTIRE DAY yesterday, searching for lowers. I ordered some, but most everything is between 2-6 months out.

My local dealer was quoted 5 months on stripped lowers and LPKs from Stag. The good news is that they have not raised prices and “have no plans to.”

I’d put an 18 inch barrel on my Glock and add a 33 rd. mag before I would wait that long for an Armalite or Shrubmaster.

Is Noveske making those?

Mark,

Theoretically speaking, of course.

I snagged this one from Grant…

John Wayne 777,

Were did you get that hat?!

Me want one.

I’m EXTREMELY impressed you got that LMT even if you did order it before the rush.

I called LMT about a week ago to order a 10.5" MRP (edit: MRP upper receiver, not complete). They quoted four months out. I was going to change it to a piston upper an hour after I ordered so I called to do so. They had already shipped my upper??! They also said it’d be till’ march before I got any piston upper (just like they said the one I’m getting would be in March). Oh well, DI isn’t too bad I suppose… :stuck_out_tongue:

If you have a DI MRP upper you don’t need to buy a whole other upper – all you need is the Gas Piston Barrel and BCG later to have a gas gun –

That’s the beauty of the MRP system –

It’s an M4Carbine.net hat I got from Grant. One of the perks of showing up at the Low Light classes…

Yep, I plan to in the future. For now, the DI system will work. It’s not something I need right now. It would have been an extra $350 for the MRP gas piston (12"). It’s $672 for the separate gas piston barrel. I can wait.

Guess I lucked out, but I walked into my local “shoot store” Friday before last and they had SIX brand spanking new Bushmaster M4/A3 H-Bars on the shelf.

Walked out with one and a couple of spare mags for $950 plus tax. (LE discount price.)

After I got home, I thought that at that price I should have picked up maybe three of those puppies and just stash two for when the prices really go into orbit. Supply and demand, you know.

Another store in town had gotten 26 of the same setup that same week, and they were ALL gone in less than three days.

Even my local Cop Shop doesn’t have any and don’t have a clue when they may get any in. (Of ANY brand.)

Waiting on a shipment of ammo to come in, and working up a list of “toys for my toy” to order from Brownell’s.

.

got an email from LMT this morning…

deliveries have now been increased to 16 to 20 weeks out for new orders.:frowning:

and if you look at their website, this wasn’t there Wednesday night…guess there is a price increase coming very soon:rolleyes::frowning:

ALL PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
