Kyle Defoor on 4/14 & 4/15 for Advanced Carbine and Jason Falla for Basic Carbine on 3/31 & 4/1 at Wallingford Ct. Any feedback on either of these classes in Ct. by anyone who attended previous classes here? I just mean the facilities, class size, general impressions. I know the instructors reputations, no issue there. Thanks.

I took the class last year with 30 Cal Slut & A8AWD

It was a great class & Jason Falla is a excellent instructor

Take a look at the Redback 1 schedule for Falla 2012 and Defoor 2012 in the Grey Group section for times and course info for both instructors. What I don’t find is where it is to be held, maximum class size allowed, distances used, food nearby or bring your own, water resupply available on site, covered area available to keep rain/snow off unused gear, paved or dirt range. It’s been a while since my last class but I recall knowing this stuff beforehand made it easier to plan ahead. I assume even if it’s raining or snowing like the hammers of hell the class is on. Hence some of my questions. Thanks for the AAR posted, that certainly gives an idea of what to expect w/ Falla.

classes will be held at blue trail range (wallingord, ct) 50 yard training pit.

risk of classes in late march to mid april at that facility is mud.

we are hoping to squeeze night shoots in each class.

food and lodging are not an issue, plenty of options to choose from. wallingford is a nice residential area.

Thanks for the reminder to go to ctguntalk, that provided me w/ the info I needed since I know the Blue Trail Range. A low light/night shoot would be a huge bonus, how often do you get to do that? Hope that can be done.
