Here is a brief run down about the course:

Lowlight Carbine is the first in a series of courses designed specifically to aid students in becoming more comfortable and skilled in using their carbines in a lowlight environment. Students in this course will use weapon mounted (if carbine is so equipped) and handheld flashlights. All material taught will be practiced multiple times during the day and again at night. Topics covered in this course include:

[li]Principles of lowlight operations
[/li][li]Handheld illumination techniques
[/li][li]Use of cover
[/li][li]Desirable features for light selection
[/li][li]Equipment placement on the carbine
[/li][li]Shooting on the move
[/li][/ul]

*The following principles will be strongly reinforced throughout the course:
*Know and adhere to the real world safety rules that govern professional firearms handling.
*Only accurate hits on target can decide the fight in your favor – therefore accuracy is King.
*You are accountable for every round you fire – squeeze the trigger as if your life depends on it because it does.

Prerequisite: completion of a recognized level 1 carbine course or similar experience
