DDM4V7 Mod. Rail Sling Attachment

I have a DDM4V7 with the Modular Float Rail 12.0
I am looking to add an attachment point for a Magpul MS3 Sling
I would like it to be as minimal as posible and not use the rail attachments.

Can something be done with the oval holes in the modular part of the tube?

is there a reason not to use the RSA on the top rail?

This is my 1st rifle and I am not sure where to put the front attachment. I thought it went on the bottom and towards the back of the handguard?

Where is your sling mounted?

has a QD mount that bolts directly to the MFR tube. I just ordered mine today. I’ll be mounting mine on the shooters side of the tube. Up near the front.

thats not mine but you see how it is almost at the front end of the upper receiver?

I put my magpul RSA right behind the front sight on my carbine. The RSA is made to be used with the Magpul Sling. That is your best best. It has the smallest footprint.
