I’ve got a factory dd mk18 with the ris fsb rail
What are the screws for? At the 9 and 3 o’clock rails- there are several flat head screws that don’t seem to do anything?
I’d be stoked if they were for screw in qd mounts- if so direct me to where I can find one

The mk18 rail has a total of 6 flat head screws. 4 of those mount the removable lower rail onto the main assembly. Those would be the ones towards the rear between the 19 and 12 positions and towards the front on the 33 position. The front-most screws are spares.
Damn- was hoping it had something to do with screw in qd

Been running a RIS II for ages and always wondered in the back of my mind what those were about. Just never gave it any real thought past that.
