I didn’t see anything on the twist rate, but they did the 6.8 right so I would imagine they will do a faster twist.

Plus its in the v5 which is my favoritist DD.

I have a feeling this SHOT Show is going to be a busy one for me.

It is good to see another major manufacture support this caliber. I am planning on purchasing a .300 Blk in the near future and was just thinking to myself that I would like to see an offering from Daniel Defense or BCM. Hopefully, the M4V5 in .300 Blk finds success and as demand grows can then expand into DD’s MK18 line or some other type of factory SBR.

Agreed, though its hard to see them not building this. 300BLK has taken off more than any other rifle caliber in recent times that I can recall.

This is great, I hope we see a lot of neat stuff for the 300 BLK at SHOT.

I think a lot of makers are just starting to see this is real, and even if they plan to do it, won’t have things to show at Shot. The UMC ammo just shipped last week after all so there really was no low-cost ammo until now. So it will have to happen in waves and throughout 2012.

Seven more ammo loads that I arranged should come out in 2012. Then the gun makers will see those, and another wave will happen.

And steel cased, but only if the bullet is as good as the UMC - which is a major effort. If they just stick an AK bullet in it, it won’t be good enough.

I’ll be looking for these to hit the market. I want high quality barrel with money left over to buy ammo.

I would place my order today if they would let me…hopefully they will at least make the barrels if not the URGs.

Just spoke with DD … they indicated the .300 AAC Blackout will be unveiled at SHOT show and shipped some time thereafter.

The wait is KILLING me.

I hope LMT will have the MRP .300BLK barrels at Shot.
