on his site DBT says both Medium and Large size will fit 10x12 plates.
is this correct or a typo?

i would highly recommend the gen 2 FAPC over the gen 1 FAPC for a few bucks more. the improvements are worthit. i have a size large gen 2 with large SAPI plates in it. read my writeup here on both gen 1 and gen 2 FAPCs:

just measured my operator cut SAPI plates…they’re 10x13…
even if the PC is size medium were you still able to close securely the plate pocket with the snap buttons?
FWIW, I own the Eagle PC with Cummerbund and a DBT FAPC with 3A Cummerbund and the Eagle will allow you to carry more evenly over the DBT version.
Both are size Large (the Eagle is L/XL).
Depending on your use and availability I would Call Diamondback Tactical ASAP to find out if your size and color is even in stock. DBT has a history of selling out of stock items which are backordered for up to 6 months.
sorry - i checked when i got home and i have a large gen 2 FAPC with large plates, not a medium. you’d need a large.
I was looking for something low profile…with molle attachment points just for a couple of mag pouches.
I’ve handled one FAPC (size small) and looked like a high quality product that would fits my needs.
