Dawson rail installation - IL????

The SEARCH function is currently TU, so will try this route.

I’d like to have a Dawson rail installed on one of my SA 1911s. I’m sure I can hunt around the Errornet and find one with little problem. What I’m looking for is someone competent to attach it - preferably in central IL. Rather than pay an arm & a leg to have it shipped off someplace for installation - I’d rather drive an hour or two and just wait to have it done. Prefer some place within 2 hours of Champaign-Urbana. (Actually - what I’d REALLY prefer is to get the hell outta this damn state - but that’s not in the foreseeable future:(

contact Darnall’s (http://www.darnalls.com), they’re located just west of Bloomington a few miles off of 55, they’ve done all my work and I’ve always been satisfied, and the drive isn’t bad from CU.

Darrell’s Custom in Cayuga (sp?) Indiana could do it. I have not been there in sometime, but I had him install a dovetail front sight on a first run SA “Loaded” and a buddy had him install a set of Novaks on a 1991.

His shop is East of Danville.
