This Dan Wesson “Specialist” is chambered in .45acp and has a very low round count. It has no wear and comes with all original documentation, packaging, and accessories. It is also in the sought after “duty treat” black finish. This finish is virtually indestructible and is tough as nails.
Dan Wesson 1911’s are in my humble opinion, the greatest production 1911 produced. They feature 100% steel construction with zero mim anywhere in the pistol. Additionally, they feature exceptional hand fitment where it counts. The barrel, fire control parts, beaver tail safety, and slide/frame are fit to a level that is on par with my Wilson or Nighthawk. Additionally, this model has aesthetic improvements such as countersunk slide stop and top of slide serrations. Dan Wessons are also incredibly accurate and make a great “first time” 1911 or a mid grade/higher end addition to any collection.
