THAT’S what I’ve been waiting to hear. My hopes are that it’s cheaper than a SCAR, better quality than an ACR, and gets smaller than an AR via the folding stock.

Yeah this may be my must have gun for next year. I hope the folding stock options will be available so we can form 1 this.

Looking at the parts diagram in the manual, it looks like mag well is a separate piece - does that mean different calibers / conversions will be available?

7.62x39mm or 5.45x39mm would be nice!

Iirc the 7.62x39 has been offered for a couple years.

Great news, hopefully this will mean rifles in the future. SBR would be cool but man, I’m sick of seeing Sig braces on every damn thing.

Have any forum members had any experience with this gun? Seems people were more excited about the Galil being offered than the Bren.

Got to handle one at the NRA Convention in Nashville. I really liked it. Seems well balanced and well built. According to CZ rep should be arriving in next couple of months (was originally supposed to be available in Apr but got pushed back). CZ rep also mentioned that they plan on having the stock and SBR kits similiar to the EVO.

Cool… but… it’s 7.9 lbs unloaded with a polymer lower receiver… ??? What does this offer that an AR doesn’t besides a folding stock?

Well, the folding stock is pretty awesome. It basically makes it a PDW-ish gun with the 10" barrel.

I dunno, I have 4 ARs, each just a little different from the next. This gun is quite distinctive, and adds capabilities the ARs don’t have, so why not?
