I have an AR-15 barrel that used to be a 16" PSA M4A1 barrel that was made from the M249 barrel blanks. It was cut down to 12.7" on accident instead of 12.5" so I want it gone. I put about 45-60 rounds through it at 16" and zero since it was cut down. I am not entirely sure what the crap on the threads is, but it flakes off pretty easily.
