Has anyone seen or had an N4 barrel cut down to “NFA” sizes? It’s a slow day and I’m playing with ideas for my first SBR, and the idea of getting a Noveske barrel appealed to me, but their N4 barrels are only offered in two flavors and I’m not sold on a stainless barrel for non-precision use.

Ah, found that thread. I think the default target length for my build would be 12.5", since I’m not sure where that point is that barrel length begins to too-sharply effect round performance (that point of diminishing returns, where compactness/size no longer justifies loss in velocity and accuracy). He (Wes) is quoting $1207 delivered for a 10.5" or 12.5" with fixed fsb, LMT upper, LaRue 7" rail, LaRue full-auto BCG & charging handle. The upper I was dreamin’ up was a 12.5", fixed FSB, MUR upper, DD M4 7.0 rail, LaRue or BCM full-auto BCG, and a PRI gas buster charging handle, so this couldn’t be too much more than Wes’s 1200 for the other build.

MSTN is great to deal with. Wes set me up with my first 10.5, a lmt , when it arrived with the aimpoint m3 already zeroed all I had to do was push two pins and it was gtg.
