After consideration, I think that I’d like a 16"-barreled, mid-length gas system upper with a 12" DD Omega rail. Does anyone offer this ready to go? BCM has one of the Lite rail but it’s the Omega that I’m after.
Hmm… Well, the 12" Omega rail is for Rifle Length gas system. The 9" Omega rail fits the mid-length gas system.
If you buy a middy upper and a 9" Omega separate, it should only take you a few minutes to install the rail.

Most places will probably use one of the other DD rails on a custom build, instead of the drop-in Omega. From what I have read, getting the Omega over a gas block can be quite an undertaking and I don’t believe that DD recommends it.
Pretty sure he’s wanting to run a low pro gas block vs the front sight post… Hence the 12" rail.
