I offer for sale this Remington 700 VS (basically a SA Sendero) in .308 with a 24", 1/10 twist barrel. I was going to throw a Leupold MK4 on this and call it done but I’ve decided to go a different route for my LR stick (I got the bottom feeder fever:D).
I bought this rifle almost stock from a fireman buddy of mine who’d shot 50 rounds through it. He followed proper barrel break-in procedures cleaning after each round for the first twenty, and every five rounds after that. He had a gunsmith perform a trigger job on the stock trigger and also bed the action in the HS Precision stock. The trigger on this rifle is incredible! It’s far nicer than any trigger I’ve ever felt - ultra crisp.
When I got it he had removed his base from the rifle so I put the Larue Tactical LT113S (0 MOA) base on the gun. I then sent the bolt off to a gunsmith to have the Badger knob installed and also have the handle properly attached with bolts (see photos) - no snapping the handle off this bolt!
I also took it to a local smith to have the barrel threaded 5/8x24 and have an extra sling stud installed. I then added the EGW Thread Protector (do I really need to explain that?).
All this gun lacks is a new home;)
$950 OBO shipped, $900 FTF in the DFW metro

ETA:
I called Remmy today and it is a 700 VS.
The rep said it was the same thing as the Sendero and that the Sendero was the LA version and the VS is the SA version.
He also confirmed it is 1/10 twist.
