"custom" build based on Mega parts

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share a build that Im doing now.

Its off a Mega lower and I have a matching Mega upper to mate to it. Im just waiting for some barrel work to be done.

The lower is a Mega Gator forged with a PSA lpk with a swapped Spikes NCB trigger. The stock is the mags efx-a1 for ny compliance. I was going to leave the Palmetto trigger but it wasnt as smooth as the nib one. I also think I may order the Mega trigger just to keep in sync with the theme.

I have to say that the roll pins from past spikes lpks and lowers seemed to be less of a pain to install but I like the magwel on the mega lower better for sure.

Upper is a Mega, barrel is a 6.8 spc ii arperformance 18 that Adco is going to cur to 16 for me. We cant have threads here so Im sending it for a target crown. BCG is going to be a spikes nib that I have in another gun. That gun will get a spare spikes standard bcg and a Mega charging handle that I own.

The rail that Ive chosen is the Troy Vtac Alpha rail in probably 11". When the barrel is back, ill assemble and post pics of the upper then complete gun. The only parts that I still need are a rail, and gas block.

Sounds like a good build. So you know, Spikes roll pins are the stronger sprial type and not split pins like the majority of LPKs have in them.

ARP 6.8 18" barrel cut to 16" with a target crown (ny)
ARP 6.8 bolt
Efx-a1 stock
Magpul ergo grip
Troy low profile gas block
Troy 13" vtac Alpha rail on the way
Nikon m223 scope and mount. Havent decided on 3-12x or 4-16x but I have 1 here and the other on the way.

Looking good, should be well balanced. The mega stuff looks nice, is it regarded at GTG stuff i.e. mil spec/trusted to take to fight?

how do you like that MEGA trigger? worth the money?

So far, no. It may need some adjustment but so far im not impressed.

You may need some more adjustment, I’ve been very pleased with mine so far.

Forgive my ignorance but what kind of stock is that? Kind of looks like just the top half of a magpul acs, never seen one before.
