I’ve decided to part with my custom 6.5-284. I built this rifle with the intention of competing in F-Class, but that opportunity has disappeared. My loss is your gain, get into a custom rifle without the wait!
The rifle has been used for light p’dog hunting and target shooting. Round count is around 400-500, but I’d have to go through records to confirm. This rifle shoots 5-round groups in the .2s with Berger 140 gr VLDs and I’ve recorded 1000 yard 3-round groups at 5" the few times its been out. I’ve managed p’dog kills near 800 yards with this rifle as well as whitetail at 560, 565, and 320 yards.
