Thinning the 1911 herd. $1650/OBO
Limited Edition Kimber Gold Guardian Series 1 from 1997. Worked over by Drake’s Gunworks in '09. He did the following:
Fit new Novak Tritium from
Reprofile and fit new Heinie rear sight
Checker the frontstrap
Fit new CMC grip safety
Fit an extra S&A magwell and blend it to the frame
Hard fit (Miller/Vickers style) Kart barrel and bushing
Smooth out the slide/frame fit
Mill off the slide markings
Clean up the back of the slide
Melonite everything except the barrel and the trigger
Got a few nicks but is in great condition.
