I’ve got a few suppressors on order from yhm and a few inpatient customers. I’m going on 7-8 weeks now on my form 3 from yhm, what’s the current average wait? Is this normal?
Being from MI, we are new to the game. But from Acu they have been taking about 4-5 weeks if the item is in stock.
I’ve had a form 3 pending since late July on a DD. I want to get this thing out of my safe.
I know what you mean. The wait times was one of the big reasons I got my SOT. ITs stupid, I can build all the machine guns and suppressors I want but to buy one they have to “approve” it? WTF ATF??? Im a freakin SOT! Pre approved! Let me buy my guns and parts…
Do they actually have the items in stock? Are they making them as orders arrive?
Our form threes have been taking from five days to three weeks from fax to mailbox. With the realignment of examiners to focus on states instead of names, we have Dana Pickles. He is the man.
My last form 3 took almost 10 weeks… Not happy especially when that’s not even including the time you will be waiting the form 4

I just had a Form 3 sent on Nov 2nd. I will let you know when its approved.
sorry to revive such an old thread, but with my searching ability it’s the closest topic to my question (without creating a new redundant thread)
Anyone know what the current average wait time is for a form 3? I’ve been waiting over a month for my suppressor to be able to be transferred to my dealer (so i can start the form 4 wait time) and I was just wondering if someone had an idea what the current timeframe was.

I had two faxed in 11/18/2012 and approved 12/31/2012
I had a SBR Form 3’d on 12/4/2012. It came back 01/16/2012.
