All controlled pairs past the 1st “line” are head shots, all hammers are chest.
Targets were normal computer paper and 3x5s for the head.

I looks like your feet want to be more offset in relation to the target (strong side foot to the rear.)
As you come up on target, you can see yourself “winding” into position. This tells me your not in a natural shooting position for how you’re interacting with the gun (stock length, mount location, support hand placement, etc).
I’m not anybody special with a carbine, that’s just the first thing I noticed, that’s all.
So your saying I’m coming to the gun , not having the gun come to me?
Thanks for tjhe feedback
It looked to me that you were shooting from an unnatural position. Did it feel uncomfortable?
You might want to throw a tac reload in there before you move.
CoolBreeze makes a good observation with the “winding”. You appear to be going through a 3 part movement before you fire. There is a definate gap between gun, stance, head. See if you can refine and blend this into one step.
It looks from your mount and foot placement, that you have to force the gun to the right as it comes up…that your NPA is further to the left.
Here’s a quick vid of Paul Howe shooting…note how the rifle comes straight up to the target. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7MXPH1Fg_8
When you decide to shoot…look at your right hip/ leg in the video. You can see it loading differently. I see this all the time with guys who have this “I have to square up to the target!” mantra playing in their brains. It screws with your NPA.
Compare your footwork and “stance” to these guys…

No winding into positing, just driving forward, and snapping the gun straight up.
Note where the muzzle line is before the beep for these guys:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-oYRn_llgo
Now, watch your video over and over SPECIFICALLY right as you start coming up on target, and play close attention to your hips and lower body. You can see (and probably feel) some tension in your abs and hips because of that.
So rifle butt should be closer to C/L of my body, right?
I think I get the “winding” your talking about now.
Thanks bro.
EDIT: I WAY see it now.
I wouldn’t move the butt of the rifle, I would close my eyes, shoulder the rifle, get comfortable, then open my eyes and move my whole body as necessary to get on target.
It looks like you’re trying to force your shoulders to stay square to the target. Just shoulder the gun, and rotate your whole body until your NPA matches where you’re shooting, and you don’t have to wind into position.
