this is my first build so critsism is more than welcome i want to know what you think most of it all you know what it is but what you cant see is , bushmaster patrolman barrel the handgaurd is a 12’’ larue gas block bushmaster internals bolt and fire control group the eotech is a 557 a lot of people complain about them haveing tails on the dot but thats why there is a brightness button!plus i like it better than my buddys trijicon i need a new mount on the magnifier stag upper and lower vltor buffer suff mil spec tube from vltor so tell me what i could, if anything do different ask q’s and ill reply this is the first of many i hope.
For starters, that’s a beautiful looking weapon.
In the pic it doesn’t appear that there are any BUIS. I wouldn’t trust my EOThingy (or at least its batteries) in an emergency.
How are the things we can’t see? A hard core bolt upgrade, like the BCM kit, is cheap and a good investment. Properly staking the gas key on the carrier is another cheap, but great investment. Too many BCGs come with poor stake jobs.
Lots of ammo and trigger time are the only way to find out how good your weapon can be. Enjoy it.
No Iron sights visible. How about a fixed front and a Troy BUIS REAR.
Upgrade B.M. Bolt to something Mil’ Spec’, I.E. Colt, L.M.T., B.C.M., F.N. K’, etc.
Eotech, well I won’t go there.
12" Larue, seems like a bit much rail, a 7.0 or 9.0 would have been lighter.
B.M. Carrier Gas Key needs proper staking.

MBUS, TROY BUIS, MI or PRI, maybe #40L for irons.
Ensure the carrier key is staked properly - I’ve heard BM is making improvements, but check anyway, and stake it yourself if needed
A new bolt isn’t necessary, but and MPI/HPT one will make sense as budget allows… but the BM unit should run just fine for a few thousand rounds anyway.
MIAD/EMOD/XT is my favorite setup, so that looks great.
No ACOG = Not TactiCOOL enough. Major malfunction.
As long as it works for you. I’d feel better with a set of BUIS.
Leave em up until you turn on that eotech. That way the rifle is usable in down time, then just drop them when you turn on the scope.
It’s horrible. Wouldn’t trust it not to blow up.

Seriously though… Put some BUIS on it.
