This was actually a really good article and points to the difference between liberal Washington and other liberal states. Even liberals have guns here. The woman who is quoted from West Coast Armory is squared away and an excellent ambassador for carry.
This article should serve as a blue print on how gun rights should be talked about. White, right of center, straight men are not going to save the 2nd Amendment in this country. Woman, minorities, gay people… will. We need to build coalitions and make our arguments in a way that resonates with the audience, not the Greek Chorus on the right. IT works. WE got SBRs and suppressors through democratically controlled legislatures in the past couple of years. Hopefully others will learn from WA’s example.

Unfortunately victimization is one way people see the light. Not on my side of the family but a relative of my wife had to learn a piece of paper doesn’t protect you. The victim’s mom went from posting liberal anti gun articles to pro gun stuff. Unfortunately her daughter had to suffer an abusive ex before she turned.
