couple quick questions

first, does anyone know a good site that will have the magpul MOE handguards in stock? everywhere seems to be out of stock  i’d like to ad a vfg and the MOE seems like the best way to do this without spending several hundred dollars.

in my second question i’m just looking for some advise… i have about 400$ (give or take) to blow… i have it narrowed down to an optic like an aimpoint or eotech OR a remington 870 … i’m still new to the gun thing, i only have my m4 and a kimber 1911. i’m torn between adding more guns or spending essentially a new gun’s worth of money on an optic. ( a third option would be to save my money and get a spas12 in about 4 months XD )

thanks in advance for replies!

I would recommend spending the money on ammo or buying a cheap .22 and a few bricks of ammo as you are new to the ‘gun thing’. As to the MOE all I can recommend is patience. They just came out not too long ago plus with current politics people are buying everything up like crazy. Just keep an eye out and if I happen along one I’ll PM you or others will let you know I’m sure.

Here you go! Rainier Arms - Magpul MOE Handguard

If you already have iron sights, spend the money on ammo and spare parts.

thank you zippy!! just ordered it… any recomendations on a small rail to mount a vfg to? (including mounting hardware)

I can’t say for sure which rails will work with the Magpul MOE handguard (since I don’t own one), but you could try…

Midwest Industries has the MCTAR-03. Bravo Company carries it too here.

Or if you prefer ERGO, they have the ERGO Polymer Rail and the ERGO Aluminum U.M.P. (Universal Mounting Platform).

The mounting rails he is using here look similar to the ERGO 4354 Aluminum U.M.P. (but they aren’t exactly the same).

thanks again. got it all ordered and squared away thanks for the help! now i just have to patiently wait for shipping :frowning:
