Could this communication set-up work? (3M Peltor ComTac iii)

Hello everyone!

Im interested in getting the 3M Peltor ComTac iii headset. I heard its difficult to set-up with civilian radio’s. But I heard this might work… —> Using the 3M Peltor ComTac iii with the Baofeng Radio US UV-5R V2+ and the NEXUS U-94 PPT. Does anyone know if this is true? Or does anyone have any radio’s (civilian) or PTT set-ups that will work with the head set?
