So I’ve had my mind set on training with Chris for a while now…don’t ask why, I just really like how he teaches and his personality. So that question isn’t up for debate. This is what is up for debate though-
It’s been almost 2 years since my last serious training session(s). I took a couple handgun 1-esque courses and 1 carbine 1-esque course taught by competent instructors in Ohio. I’ve also taken 5-6 of Grant’s monthly carbine “classes” in which I thought I faired pretty well against the other shooters, especially with the timed and versus drills near the end of each class.
I have also been shooting IDPA and a little carbine competition as well on the side every couple weeks or so…
My question is- because I know my skills are degradable but I know I have good fundementals and safety, can I safely take carbine two while getting the most out of it and not frustrating the instructors? I do have certificates from my other carbine 1 course so I can provide those.
