nice MP
he looks like hes smirking in some shots.
That was literally a 1 pass full speed run unedited, unplanned shots… I ran my shotgun for the next to last string of fire, and he asked to run it… Grabbed some shells, and he was like they day a red rider was bestow to him… The camera guy is great, jumped off a obstacle course wall and ran with him shooting these shots.
This is your shotgun… this is your shotgun on Costa. Any questions? ![]()
My man has pricey taste in outdoor duds! Cool pics.
That cameraman has skill and nice equipment, more specifically a nice lens.

So, when are we going to see ASAP plates for shotguns? ![]()
Oooo…watch. There’s going to be a run on Benellis now.
check…
Great pics and nice shotgun. That is some awesome photography…almost Stickman like.![]()
I already got mine. ![]()
I had heard that the Benelli was unreliable with a side saddle? ![]()
Why no…Their not… Link to rumor with cause? While I am unsure if that is factory, I bought that shotgun on GB over the summer for 3 gun… I was a police trade in… It is marked HK Chantilly, VA . I am guessing it is old as sin. It does have some wear on it, the shop I purchased it from stated that a dept, traded them against some Colt’s AR’s. As the dept doesn’t have assigned take home units and weapons, they were shared every shift, qualified on once a year…
When I received it, a total break down was down and it was thoroughly cleaned, I have yet to replace the spring tube inside with a stainless one, as the factory one looked to be in good shape… But for 500 bucks, who would complain… Oh it also came with the Surefire Fore-end as well… Surefire, tuned up their unit at no charge and returned it to me…
I can’t remember where I read it since it was about three years ago when I bought mine.
Here are a couple I found when googling…
Benelli M1/S90 with Tacstar 6rd side saddle – failure to eject
I think the key is to run your loads a little hotter which defense loads typically are.
For sport, I run Winchester AA Super Sports… and Defense, Federal Low Recoil/Controlled Flight Slugs/OOB
Who makes the jacket?
Looks like a TAD Gear Stealth Hoodie Reloaded to me (based on the seams).
Can we get the password to see all the shots on the Photog’s website??
I’m actually shopping for a shotty specifically for 3-gun right now so I will also take this information into account. I don’t need a $1,500 shotgun for what I plan to do so it’s nice to see that people substantially better than me are using $500 shotguns too. Sometimes people get caught up thinking you need the best of the best to compete.
Oh, and I almost forgot… cool shots!
When last hearing of the issue, the consensus was one of two reasons:
Improper installation of the side saddle on aluminum receivers caused them to compress or distort enough to slow bolt velocity.
-or-
The additional mass of the loaded side saddle added some resistance to the intertia in recoil causing the bolt to slow or stutter, especially with ammunition with light to moderate recoil impulse anyway.
