When he is up for reelection, I am going against him in the primaries.
Corker isnt a republican, hasnt been for a while. There is a growing movement here in TN that very much wants this to be his last rodeo. Whats more, he knows it, so I dont believe he cares anymore.
The Republican party has been backed into a corner. I doubt there is going to be anything that they can do except cave in. This is just a small part of BO’s bigger plan to erase the Republican party from existence. The blame game is in full swing with the Republicans being the losers.

They are falling for the classic “carrot and stick”, AGAIN. Every time there is an agreement to raise taxes and cut spending, the taxes go up, but for some reason the spending cuts never happen. That’s why I won’t go for any tax increase until AFTER I see spending cuts actually happen. IF I actually SAW spending cuts, I’d be willing to kick in some more (and yes I’m in the 35% range now), But ONLY if the cuts actually happen.

Nothing they can do but cave? So how’s the people who sent them there going to feel about bothering to show up the next election when they caved on the reason they got elected? MOST republicans there now come from pretty strong areas. No reason to just give up, and make people even less excited to go vote.
Of course the Republicans are the losers in the media. They always will be. They ‘compromised’ last time, and now its raise taxes again. They have the WORST PR campaign around, don’t stand by their principles, and Boehner is about as ineffective of a leader as I can ever remember.
If they just keep going along with this stuff…doesn’t really matter to me which party is in office. My Rep comes from a district where he got over 70% of the vote. There is NO reason for him to ‘cave’.
