Well the options for a 14.5" lightweight middy barrel is virtually non-existent for the time being. I am thinking about getting a BCM 16" middy and having it contoured and cut down. Now the all time question is CHF or standard? Something tells me I probably couldn’t tell the difference anyway.
Purpose of this barrel? I’m making a “hard use” carbine for classes and work.
ETA: I’m concerned with POI shift with heat because of the re-contouring of the barrel. CHF going to help out?
