Compound used on the fixed buttstock screw?

What compound (red color) is routinely used for the fixed buttstock screw?

Loctite

I use Vibratite VC-3. It’s the closest thing I’ve found. It works good on rings, bases, and all that stuff too.

You apply it and let it set up on the fastener… and you can leave it on there. Unlike loctite where you apply it and assemble immediately.

I have the blister packs of VC-3 all over. I forget what Gun item I bought that had it included, but it’s good stuff.
