CompM5 Mount Question

Background: all of my Aimpoint micro red dot sights have, historically, been mounted on American Defense Manufacturing mounts. I love them. In each case, I used red thread locker. Recently, after purchasing another CompM5, I found a warning on American Defense’s site stating, via Aimpoint, this should no longer be done. I understand Aimpoint’s concern and so won’t use red thread locker.

Problem: I can’t bring myself to not use any thread locker.

Question: Which color thread locker might you recommend I use, i.e. one that will provide some locking whilst avoiding the potential hazard of not being able to remove mounting screws?

I’ll stick with a proper application of the blue for that purpose, red for LPGB.

Blue thread locker is what you’re after.
