Per Grant, a few months ago:

“We are trying to move along with a project that we will offer the following items for around $499. The purpose is get people that quality doesn’t have to cost a lot, you just need to know where to look!”

  1. 16" 4150, MP tested, 556 NATO chambered, 1/7 CL barrel w/M4 barrel extension.
  2. Mil-Spec, T-Marked M4 upper receiver
  3. FN contracted BCG
  4. CMT Charging handle
  5. A2 FS
  6. F marked FSB
  7. M4 HG’s

Any word on this? At some point in the thread I think you mentioned it could be a mid-length, which I am sold on conceptually. And I’m one of those “First AR on a budget” guys who needs to do it right the first time.
