Juat received my new Brownells AR Catalog and noticed they are new Colt complete uppers…$685 for their basic Carbine upper and $949 for their Advanced Law Enforcement Carbine upper. What caught my attention most id that the product description says they have 4140 barrels! So my questions is whether tjis is something new that Colt I doing and if not is this their new standard?
Or perhaps Brownells just made a printing error.
I’ve noticed on their website that when I search for colt rifle products brownells branded AR products are listed. It must be their clever marketing ploy equate AR with Colt and allow them to list their wares concurrently.
I have seen many mistakes made by Brownells when listing products.
Yeah they are not really clear about some things especially when it comes to specific nomenclature of different parts.

I dont deal with them any more, I ordered some “NOS” commander hammers once from them, suposed to be factory colt hammers. They were cheap cast knockoffs, one was so badly flawed it only had one hammer hook.
