Compatible suppressors for Battlecomp

Anyone know if there is a suppressor that’ll work with this muzzle brake? I know vltor is coming out with a suppressor that’ll work with other companies’ muzzle devices but it’s not out yet. Thanks in advance.

In the long Battlecomp thread, they said they were looking into making a suppressor compatible version that will fit the Gemtech HALO.

Folks are actively running HALOs on the BattleComp as we speak, although neither BCE nor Gemtech recommends it. The OD of the BattleComp is .850" and the ID of the HALO is .862" – so that 12/1000ths (6/1000ths on each side) can cause some droop if the suppressor loosens.

We are looking at several suppressor adapter designs by Winter 2010/Spring 2011: HALO, bi-lock, and a proprietary version as well.

Hope that helps!

Best,
Alan

Glad you posted this. Was wondering the same thing. Would be perfect set up for my sbr build. Keep us updated.

Thank you. I hope you guys come up with something for both models (5.56 & 7.62). Looking forward to it.

I dug this thread up because I want to use my BC 2.0 with a suppressor.

Has Battlecomp produced anything ? I don't see anything on their website.

I’ve said it at least 3 or 4 times. I’m no businessman, nor am I an expert of machining things out of steel. However…

Battlecomp + AAC 51T Rachet mount = $$$$$$$$$$$$$

I’m hoping for one too!

I’d be all over this in 5/8-24 and 9/16-24 for my Grendel. Someday…for a 762SDN6.

And here… I e-mailed them about it. They did not say they were not going to make one. They told me to let AAC know that I would like to see something like that. I am not going to hold my breath.

Jk

I can’t see why they don’t partner up with something like that, unless AAC is going to pull a d-bag move and make their own.

I know for a fact I would rather run a BC than the three choices AAC has right now. I am considering not mounting an AAC mount to my newest SBR because I want to run a BC, completely giving up the ability to suppress it.

A suppressor makes a pretty nice comp. I bet the Mini 4 would work better than a BC.

Jk

I’m still interested in the bilock they were talking about.

Making the adapters is the easy part – developing partnerships takes some time, but they’re coming along just fine.

Stay tuned for the new products being unveiled at SHOT 2012. We now have our own booth in the LE/Tactical Gear Section, #20068 – at the top of the aisle near Magpul and Daniel Defense.

We have at least five new things to show off, and they’re not all compensators.

Happy Thanksgiving one and all.

ha Im in the same boat you are. If there was a 51T Battlecomp life would be so much easier, and less expensive too.
