Comp-Tac and Polite Society

Hey guys,

I got my two single mag kydex carriers from Comp-Tac a few days ago and my Eagle M4 Chest Rig from Polite Society today. Both products seem top notch and the service was friendly and fast! Both companies answered my email questions promptly and shipped my products quickly. In fact quicker than I thought they would.

The kydex mag carriers are made from thick single sheet kydex and are lower cut for a good presentation, and the belt clip is one with the body. The carriers are ordered sized for your belt, and they are fairly easy to put on and take of yet seem very securely fastened to the belt. Tension adjustments are positive and the carriers come with an allen wrench which is a nice touch. Presentation is fast and the mags are carried secure and close for good CCW.

I’m sure many of you are already familiar with Eagle gear, but this was my first piece. It is the FB version and seems very well made. Polite Society had them in stock in Ranger Green, when I couldn’t find them anywhere else. It’s the newer model without the padded shoulder straps and the single fastex on the belt strap. My PMags fit in it very well, but notice a little more resistance on my USGI mags when withdrawing them. I now really see the benefit of Magpuls!

I can’t wait to run both of these pieces through Pats class coming up! And I can recommend both Comp-Tac and Polite Society.

That would be www.politesocietyinc.com not to be confused with Tom Givens’ Polite Society Events.
Mark is a standup guy, always helpful.

Thanks for the link Sam, and for the suggestion to checkout Mark’s site in the first place!

Mark and PSI are good folks, they carry alot of gear most people dont have in stock,

Comp Tac=Good gear, good prices, insanely fast production and shipping. Ordered a holster that they didn’t have in stock when I was in the academy on a Wednesday, the mailman put it in my greedy little hands the very next Saturday. Come to think of it, the longest it’s ever taken for anything they’ve shipped was 4 days.

Those AAC blackout flash hiders are looking good. I’m going to order one tomorrow.
