Looks absolutely fantastic. I like how only the FH protrudes past the rails.

Only thing I’d add is an Aimpoint T1.
This rifle will probably get the T-1 off of my SCAR, after I get one of those fancy bronze colored TA31s to go in its place.

Got it out for the first time today (work schedule sucks) and dialed in the irons on a metal deer approx. 200-250m out; shooting both prone supported on my pack and seated cross legged. With a little hold over I was able to make consistent hits on the gong at 440m as well, cant wait to get a T-1 on this rifle. Some guys are working on a indoor shooting range locally that should be larger and allow for more positions and movement than the current indoor ranges, Im really looking forward to getting some kind of low light shooting in with this rifle. Overall Im pretty happy how it came out.
What length is that rail 13"?

Its branded a 12", but measures 12.5" with the locking plate.
Im saving it for a day with silouettes, barricades, and time constraints.

I have visited HI several times and will be again in a couple weeks. If not for the gun laws I would consider relocating! (then again I live in NY so the gun laws are about as bad anyway!)
quick question- I heard at one time they considered ar mags “pistol” mags and subject to a 10 round cap limit but that this was recently changed? please advise

Its still debated, but neither side is actively pushing the subject. If you consider an AR magazine a pistol magazine, then you have to add virtually all semi automatic rifle magazines to the list as well as there is a pistol variant for just about every rifle out there. The catch is, any pistol version of any rifle that accepts the magazine in a location other than the pistol grip is considered an assault pistol and those have been banned in the state for more than 15 years. To my knowledge no person has been charged with having a standard capacity rifle magazine in the state, and the attorney general will not issue any guidance on the subject other than what the HRS code states verbatim. Furthermore I doubt any shop owners would risk their business selling restricted items to the general public if they were in fact restricted. Actual pistol magazines, thats an entirely different story. Unless theyre issued and used in an issue weapon, I imagine they would get you in trouble.
