I’ve beat the topic of FSB light mounts to death, but I have to bring it up one last time(then I’m done). I still need a light on my carbine and I’m convinced that a FSB mount would be the best deal for the money. I was going to order the one from midwest industries, but I found a similar product made by Command Arms(I feel dirty just saying it) at my local cabelas. It can be seen here.http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0054140229151a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntk=Products&QueryText=command&sort=all&_D%3AhasJS=+&N=0&Nty=1&hasJS=true&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form23&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1
The construction didn’t look too bad. One possible advantage I though it might have over the MI mount is that between the polymer construction(less heat transfer) and three mounting screws, it might resist comming loose better than the one from MI. Should I give this thing a try, just stick with the one from MI, or just say the hell with it and get a troy rail?
