Any of you guys use this?I like the the way it looks and wonder if it is any good.Dont want to buy a dud.Heres a link to see what im talking about.![]()
Yuck!
So did anyone actually purchase this product? Any reviews? The local gun shop here was telling me that they can’t keep them in stock because they keep selling them so quickly. I was hoping to see one up close in person to compare to the Surefire.
I like how it’s totally “unworthy”, but everyone’s been bitching about the excess weight of the M900, and this thing looks like it really fills the gap:
Allows modularity for custom light options.
Allows the opportunity to have a L.E.D. based light.
Integrated light/VFG.
I’d guarantee it’s more lightweight than the M900.
I haven’t used this particular setup, but it looks really interesting. I’m not of the type to knock it, until I’ve tried it, which I haven’t.
It looks very appealing, and hopefully someone’s got some hands-on, unbiased opinions on this piece of kit.
If you like the SF 900 lights, but don’t actually need the performance of the M900, and/or can’t justify the price of the M900s for your use, then I guess I would be happier with you buying this rather than supporting the offshore companies that make rip-offs of quality products.
However- since you need a rail to mount the CAA and a light to stuff into it anyway, why not just buy a quality VFG and mount, which would allow more flexibility in mounting positions (even if you are determined to have a bottom-rail mount) for both the VFG and light?
I dunno.
My local gun shop told me that they are much lighter than the Surefire setup.
F2S has several excellent points.
I would personally love to have an integrated Light/VFG combo, but I want one with an LED lamp, and something lighter than my M900.
This thing could very well fit the bill, depending on me getting my hands on one, or hearing some favourable feedback from a knowledgeable user here.
The VFG/Light as seperate modules isn’t my favourite bag, as I can’t usually position them ergonomically. The M900 is very ergo; however, the lack of an LED option and its excess weight are my main bitching points.
