I have a very good condition Colt Wiley Clapp government model I would like to sell. I’m the original owner, bought it brand new. It’s a good gun, very accurate, and beutiful, but it’s a little heavy for only 8-9 rounds of 45 ACP goodness. I’ve shot about 500 rounds through it, mix of hollowpoint, hardball, and 200 gr LSWC reloads.
I switched out the thin grips and bushings for standard, with checkered rosewood colt medallion grips. Original grips and bushings will come with the gun.
Comes with everything that i got it with, including the white cardboard box, blue colt custom shop cardboard box (not the plastic case the cheaper colts come in), 2 - 7 round blued colt mags, lock, and manual.
I’ll also include 3 extra springfield blued mags. From appearances, they’re the exact same as the colt mags, and I beleive them to be checkmate mags which are some of the best 1911 mags available.
Since I’m going crazy with this one, I’ll also include an urban grey Griffon Industries OWB kydex holster. Griffon makes great kydex holsters with quality on par or above Raven Concealment (and it’s also finished cleaner than any other kydex holster I’ve ever seen).
