Is there some place I can find to date some Colt revolvers?
I purchased them in the mid '80’s to mid '90’s and my record keeping wasn’t so good back then.
Thanks in advance.
Mike
There are some online resources you can google, but I found some inconsistencies. Depending on how badly you want to know, they do have their archive service. You have to call them and give them some info, it costs about $200-250 and takes about six months IIRC, but they give you some cool information on the pistol on a nice official document.

This is always my go to spot for the manufacturers it lists. I use it informally but it gets the job done. Definitive info is always best sought at the factory, but proofhouse should get u in the ballpark.
the colt website doesn’t come up with any data? a very small number of my colts came back without info?
