6945 SCW.
Short barrelled 6940.
The 6940 itself.
6720 becoming a flattop gun instead of a carry handle gun.
MOE models.
Roger’s Stock.
Longer rail systems on certain guns.
CM901.
6940P. (Formerly called the Colt 1020 Carbine.) - More of an ‘‘extension’’, as opposed to an ‘‘advancement’’ of the line.
Are these not major advancements to the Colt line, and all within a year or two?
I’m in if I can get one for $12-1300ish. The SCW fills a “need” for me and is a better option than pressing an AR pistol into that role. Bonus points if Colt starts making guns in 7.62x35 (fat chance).
Does that mean the barrel and shit will be proprietary?
Wonder if it’ll be as accurate as the 6940.
Also… is it me or does the 6945 picture look like it has an ambi-magazine release? If so, that’s hardcore.
Also it’d be way cooler if Colt sold the SCW kit as a proprietary stock system, buffer system, and bolt carrier. Then I could just build the rest of the rifle.
