Will a Colt Rail Gun with X300 work well in a Safariland Duty Holster meant for a SA 1911 Operator with X300?

Safariland is running a $50 off $200 right now. I ended up ordering a Lvl 3 Basketweave ALS for 1911 w/X300, an ALS plainclothes for 1911, and a basket weave triple mag pouch. All for under $200!
Just as a heads up, the triple mag pouch has a couple of quirks. The 775 slimline’s outer slots for mags tend to be a little loose where the center mag is pretty tight. I had to adjust both the 775 I have for my 1911 and G21 to where the center mag was perfect and then put a small piece of athletic tape on the inside of the outer mag slots to get decent retention.
Since I am still the FNG I chose to run my issue pistol. Once I am off probation I’ll be taking our 1911 class and going back to it.
At least you guys have the option to run a 1911, were I work only SWAT can carry them even off duty.

Ive used the triple mag open top for my G17 and VP9 for almost two years. It allows great access to multiple magazines, but like was previously said, has some strange retention issues.
