Hello people, I just picked up a Colt Match Target HBAR lower from a guy locally. It has been stripped and I am planning to have a friend install a lower kit with a match trigger. Does anyone know what size pins this lower has? I think they are the small size (.154) but I just need to know before I order the parts. Also, any opinions on what I should go with? This will be used for target shooting with a longer flat top upper. Please advise. Thanks in advance.
They should be the large .170" pins.
Great, now I am confused. What’s the best way to check which one I have? I guess worse case is I buy both sizes and send back the ones that dont fit? Trying to avoid that if possible.
I’m 100% confident that you have large pin Colt trigger/hammer pins. I’ve never seen a Match Target rifle from Colt that has .154" pins, I’m 100% certain that they don’t exist it would be like finding a bigfoot IMHO.
Thank you! I will go with your opinion and order the large size pins. I was just confused because another Colt lower I had was a .154 pin. Thought they all were the same size, but I this one looked a little larger. Very hard to tell. Thanks again for all the help. Take care.

I’ve never seen one either with small pins. But if you have bigfoot there can I get my picture taken with him:D
I just checked my Colt reference material and I am 90% sure that they are .170inch pins. Generally speaking that .155 are used only on auto guns (Colt). I recently got confirmation from Junkmaster that the pin size they use in the select-fire ones that we have are .155 as well.
While we’re on the subject,what pin size is the LEO 6920?

BTW, they are way overpriced on their 6920 $1895 is at least $500-600 too much to pay. They can be had all over in the $1100-1300 range.
