Anyone with a New or Like New Colt MT6400C that would like to sell it or know a dealer or where I could find one?
just converted mine to 6920 spec, that comp was a real drag . if you get one I sugest you remove it ASAP .
What exactly did you have to change? The comp to an A2 flash hider. The pinned collapsible stock? What about the Bolt carrier is it M16? also is it marked .223 or 5.56 on the barrel and the receiver.

Sent the upper to Adco to be threaded for a A2 FS,added a correct (well almost) stock Stag/CMT with mil spec buffer tube and reused the H buffer , got a BCM carrier and reused the colt bolt so it should be a M16 BCG . have yet to changed the FSB to one with a bayo lug ,and may not ,ready to tackel the FSB due to the problems of lineing it up right the first time . other than the bayo lug I think I got it . if anyone knows someyhing I’m missing let me know .
I just re-certified on the Colt Armorer course and they offer a one time purchase to students. The MT 6400C is listed for a good price, but changing all of the parts may negate the savings…
So where can I get a 6400C?

I am sorry for the hijack. I honestly do not know, however if you call Colt and ask them for their major distributor they will tell you.
I have heard that it could take 16 months or more if ordered from Colt. If anyone knows a local dealer that has one please let me know.
Are you the real Jack Bauer? If so they should give you one for free!

The Colt customer service Rep I spoke w/ last week indicated they had a 6-8 month backorder for the MT6400C.

My 6400C must be older. It is marked “Colt’s Mfg. Co. Inc.” instead of Colt Defense.
First thing I did was pull the stock, which I got a whopping $60 for on the EE to someone in a ban state. Note the latch pin- Its an Allen head bolt.
Mine also says "Colt’s Mfg. . . " but it has a 403XXX s/n which leads me to believe it’s newer. Now if I could just convince Colt to remove the factory brake, thread the bbl and install an A2 birdcage. . . .
Wish I could point you to one, Jack but mine’s a keeper.
